Too much is thrown away these days, instead of repaired or reused. So we’ve made it our business to reduce our impact on the planet and breathe a second life into lightly marked sports equipment.
Decathlon Second Life is one of our sustainability initiatives that we hope will inspire positive change for the planet and its people. Together we can recycle, repair and reuse more products and prevent unwanted products from going to waste.
Every one of our Second Life Products has either been marked or used, which despite being in excellent working order, means we cannot sell them as new.
With our dedication to sustainability, we see no reason why these items can’t still be enjoyed by a whole range of sports lovers. Our team of experts fully refurbishes every Second Life product, so we can then offer them to you at prices that are even kinder to your pocket.

What products can I find in the second life section?
Here you will find various Decathlon products that have minor visual defects caused during handling in the warehouse or during transport. This can be, for example, a scratch, stain, broken packaging, missing packaging or missing small decorative part of the product, but also products that have been used for display. The products are fully functional and have no effect on safety, so we do not want to throw away and produce unnecessary waste. By putting them back on sale, we reduce the negative impact on the environment and provide you with the joy of sports at a great price through a sustainable product.

Is it possible to return a product purchased in the Second Life section?
You have the right to return unwanted goods up to 30 days from the date of purchase with proof of purchase. These products must be in the same unused condition in which they were purchased.
Warning: This return can only be made in the shop in Malta.
What is the warranty on products purchased in the Second Life section?
Yes. All these products are also fully covered by a two-year warranty.
Warning: The warranty for Second Life products does not cover a defect, which is stated on the label in the description of the product defect.
