RETURN policy WITH DECATHLON Malta

PHYSICAL PURCHASE :

At Decathlon Malta, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we offer a return process for items bought in-store. Please read the following return policy carefully:

1. Returns Eligibility:
- You may return items purchased in-store within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with all tags attached.

2. Proof of Purchase:
- A valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt, is required for all returns.
- For purchases made through our Decathlon account system, items can be returned within 365 days of the original purchase date if the purchase is registered on your account.

3. Return Process:
- To initiate a return, please visit any Decathlon Malta store with the item(s) you wish to return along with the proof of purchase.
- Our team will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet the return eligibility criteria.
- Once approved, refunds will be processed via cash.
- Please note that refunds for cash purchases exceeding 1000€ may be issued via bank transfer for security reasons.

4. Exclusions:
- Certain items as customized products, are not eligible for return unless they are faulty.
- Returns of items purchased through third-party sellers or retailers are not accepted at Decathlon Malta stores.

5. Exchange Policy:
- If you wish to exchange an item, please visit our store with the original item and proof of purchase. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

ONLINE PURCHASE :

365 Days to Change Your Mind:

With Decathlon Malta, you have 365 days following your online purchase to return a product and request a refund. The product must be in its original packaging with labels attached. Refunds are processed on the same payment method within 5 working days.

Conditions for Return:

Before requesting a return, please ensure the following conditions are met:
- The item must be in its original, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition.
- The item must be returned with the original tags and packaging material.
- Perishable products (e.g., food, beverages) are not eligible for return.
- Customized products cannot be returned.
- Returns are not accepted if the product has been used improperly compared to its intended use.


Shipping Fees:

All shipping fees charged during the original purchase are non-refundable.

Manufacturing Defects:
If you encounter a product with a manufacturing defect, Decathlon passion brand products come with a minimum 2-year guarantee. Beyond 30 days of use, we will attempt to repair the item. If repair is not feasible within a reasonable period, we will exchange the product. If no equivalent product is available, a full refund will be offered.


*All returns and warranty related claims are subject to inspection by our team of sports experts and may not be accepted.

RETURNS Q&A

You have two options for returning online purchases:

a) Postal Return:
Utilize our Courier Connect service at their DROP locations. Please reply to this form to initiate the return process.
b) In-Store Return:
Return your online order free of charge to our store in Qormi with your order invoice. All returns are subject to inspection.

Connect needs around 3 working days to return your package to our Qormi Store, and we require an additional 5 days to process the refund. For bulky items such as bikes or fitness machines, please contact us for detailed instructions.

Unfortunately, we do not provide postal exchanges for online orders. If you wish to change your order for an alternative size, complete your return for a refund and place a new order. Alternatively, visit our store in Qormi for an exchange or refund upon inspection, presenting your order invoice and payment card.

Return costs are as follows:
- Standard package: €4
- Bulky items and bikes: €10
