Sizing and fit
This T-shirt has a slightly fitted sports cut to help wick away moisture to the outside of the fabric. Select your usual size or one size larger if you prefer to wear your t-shirts looser.
Durability
We used a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which the polyamide filaments form a fine sheath around the merino wool fibres. This protects the wool fibres from friction and cuts without altering their properties.
Origin of the Merino wool
'For this product, we only use wool from Merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing. We decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool. Visit the Forclaz website for more information.
Odour control
The components used reduce bad odours.
Laboratory tested to standard ISO 17299-3.
Main fabric: 89% Merino wool
Mesh panels and a mesh fabric under the arms and in the middle of the back: 66% Merino wool, 24% Polyamide, 10% Elastane.
Moisture wicking
When you make a physical effort and sweat heavily, the merino wool easily traps the insulating warm air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without making you feel damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your merino wool T-shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool t-shirt at 30° on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat and NEVER tumble dry unless you want it to shrink by one or two sizes! On the Forclaz website you will find an article about caring for Merino wool clothing.
