Based on the same principle as animal fur or plumage, the inside of these brushed fleece trousers is capable of trapping air in and using it as an insulating agent. This keeps your body warm. Temperature rating of -18°C tested and approved
How is thermal comfort measured?
The thermal resistance test shows the loss of heat between the body and the outside, indicating the product’s insulating properties. It is carried out on the fabric using thermal probes or on clothing with thermal models, measuring the conservation of body heat

Preventing snow from getting into hiking trousers is essential for comfort, protection against humidity and the cooling of the legs. Its semi-elasticated waistband and leg bottoms allow these trousers to effectively keep the snow out. This keeps you comfortable on walks with total peace of mind!

How to restore the water-repellent properties?
To maintain effectiveness, you must regularly re-apply the water repellent treatment, ideally after each wash. Specially-designed accessory products, in spray or liquid form, are available in our shops or on our website
How do you wash these hiking trousers?
These trousers can be machine-washed at 30°C, if possible on an outdoor garment programme. Remember to turn them inside out before washing

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:
- a test of the trousers’ material.
- a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber.
Here, we reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions that you’ll typically encounter in the mountains when walking at 5 km/h.
These tests validate our design choices and we then adapt the thermal insulation to where you need it most.
