ORGANIC DATE AND BLUEBERRY SPORTS BAR / GLUTEN FREE

Our date paste is certified organic at every stage of its production by the Écocert® (for us) and Certifood® (for our Spanish supplier) certifications.

As for the recipe, we are proud to have designed a bar that contains 72.5% of fruit (the blueberry) or 65% of fruit (cocoa version)

Our date paste is suitable for those who are already keen sports users or those who want to try an organic diet, as well as those who are intolerant or sensitive to gluten.

Given that it is easy to open and easier to chew thanks to the rapeseed and sunflower seed, this is the ideal replenishment bar for activities exceeding 3h. What's more, given that dates are a naturally occurring fruit that is high in carbs and easy to digest, it is perfectly suited to a sports diet.

To give our date bar antioxidant properties (in order to protect your cells against oxidative stress), we initially wanted to add some vitamin C. However, given that this ingredient is considered to be an additive, and the use of additives is banned in organic products, we had to find an equally effective alternative.

This is where acerola comes into play: given its high vitamin C content, it is the ideal product for fulfilling our requirements!

"To reduce our carbon footprint, we opted for ingredients whose origins are consistent with this message. In other words, the climate must enable and facilitate the production of the ingredients in question," explains Juliette, product engineer. We are therefore perfectly happy to say that our dates come from Tunisia and that the acerola is produced in Brazil and processed in Europe!

And that's not all! Because we are aware that it's not always easy to chew in the middle of a physical activity, we added some rapeseed and sunflower seeds to the date paste, making it easier to chew... Anything else? Their delicious taste and crunchiness goes so well with the dates!
