ESSENTIAL 33L backpack design
Because we all have the same problem when packing our sports bags: how do you separate your dirty shoes from the rest of your belongings (computer, documents, sports clothing, etc)? We've designed this ESSENTIAL sports bag with a clever solution: a shoe pocket separate from the main compartment. This model also has side pockets for storing a water bottle while keeping it handy.
Eco-friendly DOPE-DYED process
Fabric dyeing requires a lot of water, and also discharges wastewater from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we have chosen a mass dyeing process that integrates colour pigments when the thread is manufactured. This represents 78% of the product.
Adjustable
A strap on each side of the bag allows you to adjust its volume based on how full it is.

This bag allows you to separate your sports gear from your daily belongings. It includes 7 pockets, including one for shoes, one for sports clothing, one for accessories, one for personal belongings, one for documents or a computer, and two for water bottles.

Test product
At Kipsta and Decathlon, we are very attached to the durability of our products. This is why we do numerous field tests in order to test it in use, and we also conduct numerous lab tests to ensure our products' longevity. Among these tests is the jerk test to check weight resistance (repeated use up to 10,000 cycles) and pulling tests on the fabric and assembly.
