The waterproof material on this one-size-fits-all rain protection will protect the cyclist's head from poor weather (rain, wind, cold). The component is breathable to prevent condensation under the helmet.
The built-in elastic ensures good hold on the rain protector.
The helmet cover is easy and quick to put over a helmet and takes up very little space to carry, once folded.

WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE?
This product has a breathable waterproof fabric (RET = 6) that limits condensation on the inside.
We have measured its evaporative resistance (RET) using a test based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric lets water vapour produced by the body escape, and the more breathable it is.
For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric. 9 < RET < 12 = highly breathable fabric. 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric. RET > 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.

WHAT TESTS ARE CARRIED OUT TO ENSURE THE WATERPROOFING OF THE HELMET COVER?
This product has been approved following tests in a simulator that reproduces the conditions of a MODERATE RAIN SHOWER, which is the equivalent of 60 L/m2/h (60 mm/h of rainfall) for 2 hours. The fabric withstands a water column of 2000 mm after 5 washes (= 2000 Schmerber, the average water pressure exerted by water during a rain shower - test based on the ISO 811 standard). Fully taped seams.

Tips for storage and maintenance
ANY TYPE OF IRONING ALLOWED.
MAXIMUM WASH TEMPERATURE OF 30°C. VERY MODERATE TREATMENT.
IRON AT A MAXIMUM SOLEPLATE TEMPERATURE OF 150°C.
MAXIMUM WASH TEMPERATURE 70°C. NORMAL TREATMENT.
IRONING AT A MAXIMUM IRON SOLEPLATE TEMPERATURE OF 200°C.

This product has passed a shower test of 60 L water / sqm / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the city.
