TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Why use organically grown cotton?

We began using organic cotton in 2006, a restricted market that currently represents just 0.4% of worldwide cotton production. The cotton is grown without chemical fertilisers and pesticides. It protects biodiversity, soil fertility and reduces the risk of groundwater pollution.

WHY CHOOSE RECYCLED POLYESTER?

By recycling plastic bottles and used textiles to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petroleum resources while preserving the qualities and performance of the material for your outings.

Discover the language of the Quechua people

Some of our t-shirts bear words taken from the language of the Quechua people, a Peruvian population from the Andes mountain range. Discover their meaning below.

- Achiy: enjoy

- Ananaw: beautiful

- Inti: sun

- Puriy: go, walk, travel

- Ryi: go, walk, travel

- Sallqa pacha: nature

- Samay: breathe, get some fresh air, take a break

TESTS AND WARRANTY

Test product

It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, designs and creates Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. In the Fontainebleau Forest, Brittany or even Corsica for example. We go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussions to get your feedback which is used to plan our future products!

To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested out in the heart of nature in the type of conditions you may encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.
