We recommend that 2 people pitch the tent.
The Ti0² -coated fabric is SPF 50+.
Caution: A large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
A door with a mosquito screen window.
Can be configured as three half-doors or three open doors.
We test all our living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the living room to the wind. A properly pitched living room with all guy ropes fitted should remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h near the ground.
We test our living rooms to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This living area is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips.
As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents and living rooms are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.
Poles and tent pegs
Poles - All of our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
We are aware that we need to act to preserve our natural playground, therefore Quechua is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products.
This product is not currently eco-designed, however we are working on a daily basis to make it more responsible: eco-design, repairability and sustainability are at the heart of our developments.
Our camping living rooms have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability for your camping living room, it's important to store it when not in use.
Tips for storage and maintenance
