    Tech Specs

These Tri-Zones 900 V-brake pads are fitted with replaceable compounds mounted on metal pad shoes with a threaded post.Their special triple-layer rubber construction meets the needs of regular cyclists:The first zone delivers instant grip, the second effectively removes water and impurities, and the third reduces vibrations to eliminate noise. They are compatible with all aluminium rims on the market.

    Compatibility

Compatible with all V-brake calipers (mountain bikes, city bikes, hybrid bikes, children’s bikes).Designed exclusively for use on aluminium rims. Not suitable for carbon rims or caliper- or cantilever-type brakes with a smooth post.

When should you replace your brake pads?

Regularly check the contact surface of the pads.Replace the brake pads immediately if the water drainage grooves are no longer visible, if the compound has hardened or if you hear a suspicious metallic squeaking noise. An excessively worn pad can cause permanent damage to your aluminium rim.

How to remove and fit your V-brake pads

Unclip the V-brake lever to open the caliper.Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the worn pad.Fit the new pad, ensuring that the concave and convex washers are in the correct order.Adjust the height and angle:the pad must cover the rim without touching the tyre.Hold the pad firmly against the rim, then tighten the fixing screw.Squeeze the lever to check the alignment and symmetry.
