Please note that the eyelet, which is positioned under the lure, allows you to add a treble hook with a split ring to improve the chances of striking during attacks by predators under the lure.
LINEAR RETRIEVE
For mid-water fishing, simply cast and retrieve your lure using a linear motion. The vibrations from the tail trigger the aggressiveness of predators, who will be lured into biting by the lifelike body shape.
You can also fish just above sunken weed beds after letting your lure sink down to the right depth. Then simply reel it in at a steady speed.
SINK AND DRAW
When predators are not very active and laid up in snag-filled areas (weed beds, obstacles, etc.) you can try sinking your lure down to these areas and working it with a sink and draw motion. Attacks usually happen on the lure’s way back down before it re-enters the obstacle area.
You can also work the lure this way in mid water.
