Fitting:
When you assemble your equipment, the cable shouldn't be rubbing against the metal parts or the plastic guide or cover as this would prematurely wear out the components.
Also pay attention to the tightness of the pulleys as a loose or over-tight pulley can lead to greater wear on the cable.
A damaged cable will more quickly wear out the components that it is in contact with.
