These are the most protective trousers in our range
When you’re hunting through dense, overgrown vegetation consisting of brambles, blackthorn or gorse, you need to be protected: being able to keep up with the dogs and make your way through this type of biotope is essential. That is why, for these trousers, our teams tested 40 fabrics before selecting the best ones. The result is a level of protection against wild vegetation that we’ve rarely achieved at Solognac.
A co-designed model
A total of 170 co-creators worked together to create these trousers. It is the result of 36 months of rigorous development. To ensure this model met the demands of the field, our team of test trackers put the prototypes through their paces for 2,338 hours. In figures, the outfit (Supertrack 1200 trousers + Supertrack 1200 jacket) represents 6 different designs, 13 prototypes and over 100 laboratory tests. A true mark of reliability.
Targeted reinforcements to tackle overgrown vegetation
Right from the start, our designers and pattern makers wanted the scratch and abrasion resistance of these trousers to be visually apparent. This is why the areas most exposed to overgrown vegetation (the lower parts of the garment) feature a sturdy reinforcement made from rigid fabric. Acting as a protective "shell" over the chaps, this technical fabric causes the bramble thorn to slide and bounce off the fabric rather than allowing it to pierce the material.
Modular chaps
These trousers are a real game-changer for hunting, as they help extend the life of your kit! If the reinforcement on the removable chaps wears out over time, you just need to replace them (spare part available - item number 9054576). No need to throw your trousers away or buy a new pair. This modular design also means, for example, that when you get back to your car at lunchtime after the hunt is over, you can simply remove the chap so as not to get anything dirty.
Repairable trousers
From the very outset, these Supertrack 1200 trousers were designed to be repairable in partnership with LES RÉPARABLES, a sewing workshop in France. A few words about the chaps (part 1 of 2)
They can be easily and intuitively attached to your trousers. They feature press-studs at the bottom and a 21 cm-long zip to make it easier to put on shoes or boots. Inside, there is a hook to attach to the laces of your shoes.

To avoid getting it wrong when you reattach the chaps to your trousers (i.e. putting the right one on the left side and vice versa), make sure that:
-the chap with a strip of orange fabric goes on the left leg (it also has an orange trim on it)
-the chap with a strip of black fabric goes on the right leg (it also has a black trim on it)
Other features of these trousers
The back is higher: unlike a classic straight cut, this style follows the curve of the back and provides better coverage for the lower back. The hips are also adjustable thanks to a hook-and-loop fastening on each side. The trousers have two side pockets with a small flap that fastens with a press-stud. Finally, the inside of the Supertrack 1200 is made of mesh fabric for comfort. Weight: 1.300 kg for size L.
Extra details to bear in mind
On the back of the chaps, in the calf area, there is a ventilation gusset to improve airflow. The trousers section also features laser-cut perforations to help wick away sweat. Finally, the Supertrack 1200 features removable shoulder straps: they keep the trousers at a constant height (you no longer have the problem of trousers “sliding down”); they also distribute the load across the shoulders rather than on the hips
