How to Use the Outdoor Knife

The No. 08 Outdoor is extremely versatile: it features a highly durable 2.5 mm-thick blade and a3.5 cm serrated edge effective for cutting natural or synthetic ropes cleanly without fraying. The shaft is water-resistant, shock-resistant and durable under extreme temperatures. It is fitted with a whistle with a range of 300 metres; even without a ball, it remains effective in bad weather. A shackle key for shackles measuring 4 to 10mm is built into the blade.

The handle:
The shaft is injection-moulded from fibreglass-reinforced polymer, ensuring high resistance against impacts, water and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). A whistle is built into the heel of the shaft; as it has no ball, it works in all weather conditions. With a volume of 110 dB, it has a range of around 300 metres in open terrain.
