WHAT IS THE KIPSTA CERTIFICATION TEAM?
We have a team of engineers who test our footballs, with specific protocols, qualified testers and statistical analyses. This process ensures the quality of the tested products.

Our balls have been tested by a dedicated lab for more than 15 years. Created in 2018, it performs more than 10 tests developed by FIFA or in-house.

All our balls are checked at the end of the production process. We assess them for technical compliance and perform destructive testing at our lab.

A "round" ball?
Sphericity is measured at 4500 points. Maximum allowable variation: 1.5% (FIFA standard). If the score exceeds this threshold, we revise the design to ensure a consistent trajectory.

This ball is the product of years of R&D and was co-developed with players from the Ligue 1 McDonald’s and Ligue 2 BKT. It meets the specific needs of high-level players and goalkeepers.
WE ALSO TESTED THE BALL'S WATER ABSORPTION
Placed in 2 cm of water and compressed 250 times: maximum weight gain of 10%. Thermobonding reduces absorption much better than stitching.

MAXIMUM LOSS OF PRESSURE TEST: WHAT IT MEANS
Recommended pressure: 0.8 bar. The ball should not lose more than 15% pressure (≈0.1 bar) within 72 hours of inflation. This test ensures optimal pressure retention.
