What are these swivels for?

These two sling swivels are used to attach a strap to a shotgun or rifle. With this accessory, you can carry your weapon safely over your shoulder. Your hands are free: for example, you can use binoculars or a rangefinder, and so on, without having to hold the weapon at arm’s length all the time.
