Versatility
Dry powder extinguishers are versatile: they can be used on most types of fires (ABC), except metal fires. They also make it possible to tackle mixed fires with good efficiency.

Directions for use
For optimal efficiency, you must hold the fire extinguisher in an upright position. If held horizontally, even slightly inclined, its operation would be only partial. Always aim at the base of the flames, start at the bottom and follow the fire upwards.
The fire extinguisher must be placed near high-risk areas (engine, kitchen, batteries, etc.) and be easily accessible from the inside as well as from the outside.
