    The horse's daily ration

    Generally, hay, straw, and pellets or grain provide all the calories and fibre needed, but very few vitamins and minerals. These micro elements are nonetheless essential to the horse's health and vitality. For example, calcium and phosphorus strengthen the bones, while iron and lysine help ensure the body functions properly while exerting itself; antioxidants help prevent tissue cells from breaking down.

    For a horse: 100g per day. A 3kg box supplies a horse for 30 days.
