Why our kettlebells are better than the rest
Our kettlebells are exceptionally high-quality:
- Made from cast iron to be sturdy and durable.
- They are designed to ensure you can drop them safely.
- The powdered paint finish provides an optimal grip.
- Their rubber exterior softens impacts, protecting both the ground and your equipment.
Why is the base made of rubber?
Its coating absorbs shocks and prevents scratches. However, regardless of the weight, it is essential to use a protective floor covering to protect your home. For complete safety and maximum comfort during your workouts, we recommend using our mat (ref: 8873350).
Our products are made from at least 80% recycled cast iron
Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! To ensure that the quality is the same as classic cast iron, tests are carried out in partner laboratories.

Why use a kettlebell when training?
Kettlebells are the perfect tool for a well-rounded, effective workout, since they engage several muscle groups at the same time. Their versatility provides them with a great variety of exercises and combinations so you can customise your programme to your specific goals.
Whether you want to strengthen your muscles, lose weight, improve your endurance, or increase your athletic performance, kettlebells adapt to all needs and all levels.
Beware of dropping the kettlebell
Use the 12 kg kettlebell with a rubber slab (ref: 8651539) to be able to put it down safely without risk of damage for your downstairs neighbours.
How to store your kettlebell
To protect your floors, store your kettlebell indoors, preferably on a rubber slab (ref: 8651539). The cast iron underneath the rubber coating can be affected by humidity, so it is important to take precautions.

Our trainer's advice for improving your training (2/2)
For each exercise, start with the lowest number of reps (ensure that you don't go until failure, and leave a margin of 2 reps compared to your maximum), then increase by one rep per week until you reach the higher number in the recommended range. You can then increase your weight.
For a greater challenge, you can build running in between your rounds, or reduce (or even remove) your recovery time.
