Why use a kettlebell when training?

The versatility of kettlebells allows you to engage several muscle groups at once, making it an essential tool for an effective, well-rounded workout. With its wide range of exercises, you can customise your workout to fit your goals.

Whether you're going for strength training, weight loss, improving endurance or athletic performance, this kettlebell is made for you!

Our products are made from at least 80% recycled cast iron

Since 2018, our teams have been gradually integrating recycled materials until we reached the perfect balance. Following several years of experiments, Decathlon is replacing its entire range of cast iron products with recycled cast iron made from at least 80% scrap metal and steel waste – a real feat for the world of metal! To ensure that the quality is the same as classic cast iron, tests are carried out in partner laboratories.

    Freeletics: inspired workouts

Freeletics works seamlessly with your device to support you during your workouts. The leading European app is fully compatible with this product and offers comprehensive workouts to strengthen your whole body.

    - They are designed to ensure you can drop them safely.
    - The powdered paint finish ensures an optimal grip.
    - The rubber exterior absorbs impacts, protecting both the ground and your equipment.

Why does the kettlebell have a rubber base?

Its coating absorbs shocks and prevents scratches. However, regardless of the weight, it is essential to use a protective floor covering to protect your home. For complete safety and maximum comfort during your workouts, we recommend using our mat (ref: 8873350).

    Beware of dropping the kettlebell

To safely drop your 24 kg kettlebell, we recommend using it with a rubber slab (ref: 8651539).

    How to store your kettlebell

Underneath the rubber layer is cast iron, which can be damaged in the presence of moisture. We recommend storing your kettlebell indoors in a dry place, on a rubber slab (ref: 8651539), to protect your floors.

Use a damp cloth or microfibre cloth to look after your kettlebell.

Our trainer's advice for improving your training

Depending on your level, adjust the number of reps, the recovery time between rounds, the running distance, and the number of rounds. Don't hesitate to use heavier or lighter kettlebells depending on your level, to challenge yourself safely.

From extraction to production, metal has a high environmental footprint. To help reduce it, we use recycled metal in this product — sourced from recovered scrap, sorted, shredded, and melted down in electric furnaces, which are far less energy-intensive than traditional coal-fired blast furnaces. The result: the same performance as virgin metal, with a lower environmental impact: – 40% less energy used – 19% fewer CO2eq emissions – and fewer raw materials extracted
