    Bag dimensions and volume

    45 cm height
    28 cm width
10 cm depth for the main compartment.
    3 cm deep front pocket
    Volume: 20 L

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we then empty the balls into a graduated container which then displays the equivalent volume in litres. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in litres, with a tolerance of a few %.

The X-Access concept: what is it all about?

This backpack is X-ACCESS compatible thanks to the two black straps (loop straps) on the front compartment. In practical terms, this means that X-Access-compatible accessories and pouches can be attached to them, to carry even more equipment or to provide very quick access to a particular piece of equipment.

Examples of compatible pockets: reference 8826785 (vertical soft pouch edc size s) or reference 8826786 (horizontal soft pouch edc size m).

Can it be carried in the cabin?

Each airline sets its own regulations on the size and weight of baggage allowed. Nevertheless, here are a few examples:

-for Air France, this bag is equivalent to a large piece of hand luggage (max. dimensions: 55 x 35 x 25 cm), as with Ryanair (max. dimensions: 55 x 40 x 20 cm)
    - at easyJet, it is nevertheless considered as small hand luggage (max. dimensions: 45 x 36 x 20 cm)

We therefore encourage you to read the companies’ rules carefully beforehand.

Key features to keep in mind

The bag and lining are made from polyester. Why this fabric? Its resistance to rubbing and abrasion makes it solid, giving it a long service life. On this model, we’ve also chosen to place 10 mm of polyethylene foam on the shoulder straps, which improves the shoulder carrying comfort. Please note that the water-repellent fabric protects the backpack from light rain but not from a downpour.

    Those extra little details

this backpack weighs just 400 grams. This makes it a lightweight model that reduces the total weight of your load and allows you to move around more easily. It has 3 zipped pockets (including 1 inside) and an elasticated compartment. There are also 2 straps under the bag: they can be used, for example, to hang a jacket or vest that won’t fit in the backpack, a tarpaulin to lay on the ground, a sleeping bag or mat, etc.

Dyeing textiles requires lots of water but also leads to lots of water waste generated in dyeing vats. To reduce this environmental impact, we choose solution dyeing, which integrates colour pigments when manufacturing the thread.
