The advantages of EPS/EPOXY boards
We chose this type of construction for our surfboards, because it offers numerous advantages:
Epoxy resin is more resistant to impacts and crushing than polyester resin.
The board will also be more responsive and capable of generating more speed.
EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam floats better, so for the same volume you have more buoyancy than a polyester/polyurethane board.
Fins
Delivered without fins.
side 4” FCS1 ref/ (8751381) and central us box 7” ref/(8750883) available in store or on Decathlon.com.
Which fin configuration should you choose?
For powerful waves and surfers weighing more than 70 kg , opt for the 2 +1 assembly with a 7" central and 4" sides.
For smaller waves, single or twin assembly.
Twin assembly ideal with keels.
Packaging
The board has a Flexi Hex® honeycomb case inside a sturdy box.
This case is reusable in your surfing cover to protect it while transporting.
