What is the loft of the down used in the MT900 0°C Down sleeping bag?
On the topside of the bag, we have used 800-CUIN duck down (260g in size L), comprising 90% down and 10% feathers. RDS label.
For the underside, we have opted for 700 CUIN recycled down (235 g in size L), comprising 80% down and 20% feathers.
The down is spread over 4cm-high compartments, separated by mesh partitions positioned in a Z-shape to prevent the formation of thermal bridges.
What are recycled feathers?
Using recycled feathers involves using a mixture of down and feathers from products that cannot be reused. This limits the use of new resources by recycling existing materials that would otherwise be discarded. The quality of the filling is checked through lab tests to make sure it maintains its technical properties and keeps you warm.
What is comfort temperature?
We display the comfort temperatures that are determined by an independent lab (AITEX) on all our sleeping bags, in accordance with the international standard ISO 23537-1: 2022.
Comfort temperature is the minimum temperature at which an average person (female, 25 years old, 60 kg, 1.60 m) feels comfortable and not cold when they are in a relaxed position.
Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.
And what is the limit temperature rating?
The limit temperature rating is the minimum temperature at which an average person (male, 25 years old, 70 kg, 1.73 m) is able to sleep in a curled up position without feeling significantly cold.
For your information, the extreme temperature is the minimum temperature at which a person can survive (risk of hypothermia) for six hours. This is a safety measure, not a comfort measure.
Which mattress should I use this sleeping bag with?
We recommend using a mattress with an R-value of 4.8. Below this value, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be reduced.

The exterior of the bag is made from 100% polyamide 27 g/m² 10 denier fabric with 30 denier ripstop reinforcement. This fabric can withstand 80,000 abrasion cycles.
Resistance is calculated using the Martindale test (ISO 12947-2 standard), which involves rubbing the fabric against another material to determine the product's wear limits.
The inner lining is made from 100% polyamide 35 g/m² 20 denier fabric.
How is the material used in this sleeping bag manufactured?
No PFAS treatments have been intentionally added to this product.
How to stay warm in the MT900 0°C Down sleeping bag

Tip: contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat), avoiding any movements that could create a draught.
