    Does this snowsuit really keep children warm during their winter outings?

    We have opted for a double layer of wadding on the upper body (100 g/m² and 60 g/m²) and the bottom (60 g/m² and 60 g/m²). This method traps air between the two layers: better insulation than a single thick panel of wadding. Collar and back lined with 300 g/m² faux fur. Legs lined with 120 g/m² fleece.

    Adjustment system: the suit fits the child for two seasons

    The suit 'grows' with your child. The three sizes available are suitable for children aged 1 to 5: 12-18 months, 24 months-3 years and 3-5 years. Adjustment is simple; the sleeves can be adjusted using buttons. The elasticated leg bottoms, which sit over the boots, allow you to adjust the length.

    A snowsuit designed with practicality in mind

    This design includes all the handy accessories you need for skiing: a ski pass pocket in the sleeve, little Lugiklip clips to attach the mittens to the sleeves, and even a special place to hang your medal without damaging the fabric!

    How should you dress babies and children to keep them warm in winter and on ski slopes?

    To make sure they stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:
    - Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
    - Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.

    - Layer 3 or a protective layer to protect against the elements.

    How can I stop snow from getting in my après-ski?

    Pull the elastic at the bottom of the snowsuit over the boot. This technique prevents snow and draughts from getting in and keeps their feet warm and dry.

    How is the waterproof rating of this snowsuit’s fabric verified?

    A material’s waterproofing capacity (achieved through coating or membrane) is measured in Schmerbers or mm H₂O (pressure exerted by a water column). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric is. This model, with taped seams, is waterproof to 15,000 mm H₂O (Schmerbers): the pressure exerted by a 5-metre column of water.

    Storage tips

    It is best to store on a hanger and avoid creases that could damage the fabric. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.

    • DRYING IN TUMBLE DRYER POSSIBLE. LOW TEMPERATURE, MAXIMUM DRUM EXHAUST TEMPERATURE 60°C.

    • DO NOT IRON.

    • MAXIMUM WASH TEMPERATURE OF 30°C. VERY MODERATE TREATMENT.
