A warm insulated jacket (part 1 of 2)
When stand hunting, you can often spend hours motionless. Similarly, it can get chilly when stalking in certain weather conditions. That’s why this quilted jacket features 150 g/m² insulation on the body. The insulation helps to trap warm air to protect you from the cold and wind. This synthetic insulation is made from interwoven fibres designed to mimic natural down.
A warm insulated jacket (part 2 of 2)
The 150 g/m² insulation in the body of this jacket provides excellent loft. The trapped air acts as a barrier against the cold. What’s great about this type of protection is that synthetic insulation doesn’t clump together when damp and continues to keep you warm.
Please note: the thermal test report for this quilted jacket, designed to be worn as a second layer (over a T-shirt, for example), indicates an optimum temperature range of between 7°C and 4°C.
Brushed knit sleeves (part 1 of 2)
Sleeves lined with brushed knit: with a fluffy appearance that is soft to the touch, it looks like fine fleece or velvet. The fibres effectively absorb and wick away moisture. You stay dry, which is crucial for retaining body heat over long periods.
Brushed knit sleeves (part 2 of 2)
Combined with stretch fabric on the sleeves, brushed knit is naturally slightly stretchier than plain knit. We’ve prioritised your freedom of movement. This is particularly important for shouldering a weapon smoothly when your target game is in sight.
Walkie-talkie loops
There is a walkie-talkie tab on each shoulder: this allows you to keep your device close to your ear. CAUTION! If using this jacket for big game driven hunts, to ensure you are clearly visible to other hunters and to comply with local regulations (such as in France) wear a blaze orange vest (or other blaze orange garment) over the jacket.
A few words about the Treemetic camouflage (item no. 9004755)
This paragraph applies to the TREEMETIC model.
This TREEMETIC pattern allows you to camouflage yourself even more effectively. It is designed to adapt to as many biotopes and seasons as possible. To break up the human silhouette and blend in with any environment, it features in particular:
-high contrasts between light colours and darker parts (both in the foreground and the background)
-3D effects and geometric shapes
-realistic plant motifs (branches)
