    Directions for use

    Ecozen® plastic, like aluminium, is not an isothermal material. Use a specially designed, insulating bag if you want to keep liquids cool in your water bottle. This water bottle can be used for hot drinks but they will cool quickly. Do not use with fatty substances (dairy products, oil etc.). Do not put in the microwave or freezer.

    Functions

    Lid with a large slot to carry the product easily by hand or attach it to a rucksack with a strap or snap hook.

    Care tips

    Clean your water bottle after every use with conventional washing-up liquid and water. The product can also be put in the dishwasher if necessary. Allow the cap and bottle to dry separately.

    First use

    Rinse the entire product 3 times with clear water before using for the first time.

    Materials and regulations

    Our products and materials meet the food contact standards in force. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with the French regulations in force. Plastics are divided into 6 categories depending on their properties. If a plastic does not fit into one of these 6 classes, it switches to class 7 (where we find all kinds of food-grade and non-food-grade plastics). Ecozen®, made for food contact, falls into category 7.

    Materials chosen to reduce the environmental impact

    There are many different plastic materials. The more complex the plastic, the more stages of manufacturing there are and the environmental impact of the raw material is greater. We have changed the old material of the water bottle (PCTG-Tritan) for a material (PETG-Ecozen®) requiring less steps during its formulation. This material retains the same properties and is also recyclable.

    Don't throw away, repair

    Our products will join you on your mountain walks and this water bottle is guaranteed for 5 years.
    As you gradually progress, they will age, certain parts can get worn, broken or lost.
    To help repair your flasks, our tops are available separately.
    Our environmental approach at Quechua also supports making these parts available to you.

    • IRON AT A MAXIMUM SOLEPLATE TEMPERATURE OF 150°C.
