    Will these boots be warm enough for your child’s winter hikes?

    We test our boots in a thermal laboratory, simulating walking in light winds (5 km/h), to assess their resistance to the cold. Sensitivity varies from person to person. Comfort temperature: a slight feeling of cold, which 70% of users found acceptable. Limit temperature: bitter cold, tolerable for 10%.

    How can I be sure that my boots are 100% waterproof?

    Your boots are designed with a membrane to guarantee waterproofing and breathability. A membrane is a very thin component applied to the inner surface of the fabric that prevents water from entering while allowing moisture to escape.
    We tested this product in a laboratory simulating walking with the feet half immersed.
    This boot model has been tested to withstand the equivalent of up to 8,000 flexes.

    SNOWCONTACT technology

    Thanks to their special composition and studs, Snowcontact soles offer excellent traction on snow, superior to that of a standard sole. On ice, fitting non-slip grips remains essential to ensure optimum safety.

    Will your boots withstand regular use over the long-term?

    Our engineers conduct laboratory tests to ensure that the product fully complies with your satisfaction in use. Our verifications include the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing.

    Is the tightening different depending on the size, like on other models?

    No, the type of tightening remains the same for all sizes (UK JR sizes 12-5).

    Our tips on use and care

    The boot can accumulate moisture (sweat, condensation). If there is a lot of moisture, remove the insole, stuff it with newspaper and change the paper regularly to speed up the drying process. Avoid any direct sources of heat; Leave to dry in a warm, dry, well-ventilated place.
